This is pretty much how my drawing progress goes most days. (although usually the happy accident has to be right at the start and not usually that big XD) But was drawing something just now and after many attempts it looked like it had potential but was juuust about to fall short when suddenly boom, suddenly began working literally in the space of a single stroke. Drawing often means struggling, failing, restarting, over and over until you make something work. please do not give up just because it isn’t coming to you right away!
This morning I went to take the bus to Southampton from Calmore where I live, I could see there was a girl at the bus stop on the bench from around the trees but I stayed where I was because I was holding a pinkie pie plush and was embarrassed (taking her to get fixed at BaB). the girl was sitting in front of me on the bus and I spent the journey listening to music. near the end of the ride she suddenly holds her arm back with a note in it to me, I took it and this is what it was.
I didn’t get to say thank you, so I’ve been trying to find her online.
This is the nicest use of art I have seen and if whoever gave this to me sees this post, then thank you very much!
I felt like trying a cuter, more cartoony stile with snakes and it worked out awesomely!! I am so pleased with this. also, return of my old sketch shading style. And Shida looks soooo cute
