did a 30 minute challenge for the first time ever! theme; stuff from the new episode.
I love having more artist friends and art groups to be a part of. I feel so connected to people who enjoy stuff I like.
I say 30 minute challenge, but I was late to the draw-along party, so I only had 17 minutes and had to rush. all I could manage was a headshot.
All one colour except the eyes. (which I really didn’t need to colour in but I like having the eyes as the one differing colour, especially with Pinkie’s blue against all the warm pink, really brings them out.)
Made this to be a stream overlay for technical difficulties. Uploaded flat colour too because I wasn’t happy with how the shading and atmosphere took away from the simplicity of the piece.
Finally over art block! Yay! and of course pinkie is the thing to get me back on track haha. that and listening to loads of pony music and binge watching episodes.
I don’t care that it was a filler, yesterday’s episode was incredible. it blew me away.
I couldn’t believe the amount of effort put into it. the use of characters was perfect and they were all completely in character and written amazingly. The songs were incredible and so enjoyable, the backgrounds were jaw dropping, the pacing was perfect, and the whole thing was just so colourful and beautiful.

Ghost Applejack! LOOK AT LUNA
So foreboding and awesome And the songs were AMAZING! Starlight’s was foreboding and thrilling, Luna’s was so ominous and dark, Applejack’s was sweet and loving, and pinkies… I LOVE Pinkie’s song! it makes me feel warm and happy every time and I can’t stop listening to it

This episode reminds me of why I love every character even if it is just a musical filler episode.

This episode makes me really happy and i find it so unbelievably enjoyable! The atmosphere, the warmth, the energy! I literally couldn’t find a single con, and even those others pointed out don’t mean anything to me. it was fantastic
So apparently even though i’m still struggling to draw on the computer (for all who don’t know i’ve been in a bit of an art block) apparently I can still draw on paper X3

Yes, I did have that song from Rainbow Rocks stuck in my head the whole time. This was actually a quickie. pretty fun to do too. I’m quite happy with the result. got to play around with a few things too.
This started out as me vectoring a face from Rarity Investigated but ended up becoming a full picture and then ended up becoming my valentine’s day picture XD it was actually cus I wanted to put a cake on her back to show what she was eating and then one thing led to another XD
Twilight accidentally summoned a spot of trouble. she could have tried to pinpoint its magical weak spot and force it back into the spell, but it could mess up her library. unfortunately, the best way is to just let it wrap you up and hypnotize you. you’d just have to rest in its coils for a few hours. She was scared and reluctant at first, but soon she found her resistance melting away.
