Pffff what you call nostalgia is much more shameful for me XD
But I appreciate that other people are far less judgmental about my terrible old pics.
As for stories, absolutely not. Even I can see how my old pics, well to put it simply and all joking aside, I remember which ones felt right, and which ones were bad even when I made them. I know which ones kinda aged well and even some still have some enjoyable aspects to them and at the very least I appreciate the journey of art that got me here.
But stories… no I am actual no joking ashamed of them. I did not write them to be good stories, I was pretty much just writing them for the fun of it, for my own pleasure. and so much of them I look back on and am ashamed of honestly. I know people tell me all the time that they still liked them but I’m sorry I can do 1,0000000x better than that now.
Most of my writing now, as little as there is, is focused on serious things, cute stories about ponies and such. There’s one I haven’t updated on Fimfiction for A LONG TIME I’M SO SORRY *ehem* another that I never even got around to and another I am trying to write right now which I *LOVE*, like I cannot express truly the emotions this story made me feel as the entire thing played out in my head over the course of a couple of days and I decided that 100%, if it’s the last thing I do I will write it.
I don’t write much in the way of hypnosis stuff (which for the reference to any newer fans, they are talking about a bunch of stories on the old website I used to have, featuring snakes hypnotising little furry characters, haha ;; ;; ), and while I do occasionally write something for fun, I’m usually not very happy with them.
There were on occasion one or two I did sorta like, to an extent. but a lot of them end up featuring um…. other themes, so to speak XD
But I tell you what. Since one of the last notes brought up the hypno visor thing, it made me think about (something I actually alluded to in my reply), a story I started writing for sillies on my tablet when I was laying in bed a few nights back. I feel like the pacing is terrible and again it’s in now way sticking to rules of good writing that I tend to try and follow with my serious works, but it at least had kind of a cute premise. I’ll try to keep in mind that if I do get round to writing anything I’ll try to clean it up well enough and put them up somewhere. And you’re welcome to follow my cobweb-ridden Fimfiction account in the vain hope that I might actually get some decent writing done, as well as read the first five chapters of the story Cloudburst, and a couple of one-off naughty fics ;) (one of them involving hypnosis actually haha)
