Has tumblr gotten rid of the 5 tag maximum thing? For those who don’t know what i’m talking about, while you can have as many tags as you want for searching posts on your blog, only the first five will actually be indexed to search for on Tumblr. and like on the mobile app I could only see five tags listed on any post But now I see lots more tags than that so I dunno. If they did get rid of it, It would be good. I was so annoyed when I first found out about it. and it has sense been the challenge of “Which five phrases will be the absolute most important to this pic” and it’s annoying XD
Cus before that it was Deviantart always raising me to be like “Tag as many f**ing things that you can find relevant about this pic! there’s a tree in the background? Cool! put that!” It’s like two different parents/guardians trying to teach you to do two different things with your hobby XD
But yeah I dunno.. if anyone knows if we now get more than the first five tags indexed to searches that would be great if you can clarify for me.

Yes, I did have that song from Rainbow Rocks stuck in my head the whole time. This was actually a quickie. pretty fun to do too. I’m quite happy with the result. got to play around with a few things too.
This started out as me vectoring a face from Rarity Investigated but ended up becoming a full picture and then ended up becoming my valentine’s day picture XD it was actually cus I wanted to put a cake on her back to show what she was eating and then one thing led to another XD
To any other artists out there (Not that any great ones are likely to be watching me >_<)
I wanna learn more about how different artists go about drawing. because each of us has a very different approach and mindset right down to a very fundamental level.
I specifically would like to see how people do their lines cus I’ve never quite been sure how to do lines any differently. especially when I see those sketchy but really smooth ones.
but also things like colour and shading. So if you have anything you wanna share please feel free to go nuts in a reblog and I will reblog it back and will probably add my own techniques too X3 we artists need to learn from each other and draw together~
